General, News, The Course

The course opens on 24th of April 2020

We are happy to inform that we are opening Botnia Golf for play on Friday the 24th of April. Due to the existing situation with Covid-19, we keep the club closed and expect that all of our members and guests respect the instructions shared by the Finnish Golf Federation (in Finnish): https://golf.fi/pelaajalle/golfliiton-paivitetty-tiedote-koronavirus/

General instructions

The most important first. By your own acts you ensure that we all stay safe. Do not come to the course if you are suffering from symptoms indicating Covid-19 or if you are quaranteed.

Ensure that you maintain good hygiene throughout the visit. We keep the club closed at least during the first weekend, but the locker rooms and their facilities are available for playing members and guests.

The trolleys are available for players, but as a player you are responsible for ensuring that the handle is desinfected. The used trolleys are to be returned to a separate lane (guidance on site) where the personnel will clean them and return them.

On the course, please maintain distances to other players, and do not touch any flags. Please ensure that you pick up your ball carefully, without compromising the edges of the hole.

Booking and reservations

Members are asked to book their starts through nexgolf, and to pay the greenfee to one of these bank accounts:

  • Nordea FI57 2105 1800 0158 26
  • POP FI16 4730 5020 0082 88

Guest players are asked to book their starts through Teetime, and preferrably also pay through Teetime or if not possible to one of the bank accounts. Our caddiemaster is available over the phone throughout the opening weekend.

The Course

As you can see from the pictures taken on Wednesday evening, the course is still in spring conditions.

Once again – a big thank you to our Caddiemaster for the preparations! Enjoy your round and our course!
